This is our Ava, our first little water pot. She is now 7 and still so precious. Today for example, Lila was having a bad morning, she is a lot like me, NOT a morning person, anyway Daddy's schedule changed so I had to rouse her way to early to her liking. Previously Ava would have made herself scarce due to Lila's LOUND crying but today, she tried to calm her and kissed her on her head. Lila loves our king size pillows and strips them of their pillowcases to get to the "pillow white", this of course sends me to the moon, ANYWAY, Ava made it a point of telling Lila, "Lila look I have your pillow white and we can take it in the car, don't cry I got it for you" and kissed her again and wiped her tears. I was so proud and wanted to cry. She has really grown emotionally this past year and has become so much more attentive to Lila. She is a true blessing. More photos to come! Ava is beautiful and it sounds like she is a real sweetheart. It is amazing the change that comes in your other children beacuse of your special needs child. They just seem to understand more about life and compassion.
