Well not a whole lot of anything going on here on the Texas front. 4th of July I painted some interior walls even though it was humid as heck, but then a really hard rain came down, then the sun, ahhh Texas, best thing is our color is reeeaaallly nice, really warms up the entry way. I also painted a small guest room and even did the ceiling, looks good and hope I see some results on my arm muscles! (Of course the next morning I woke up really early and had to take something for my STIFF BODY).
Then I sprung the suprise on my husband that instead of watching the mega mall's fireworks from the mosiquito comfort of our own driveway, we were driving up to the OTHER outdoor mall to watch theirs. He grumbled something but I was way to ready to get out of the house and my girls were happy to go. So off we went with at least 500 of our close neighbors. We wound up really enjoying it, Lila got to meet and greet everyone within earshot and enjoyed the fireworks, I brought her earphones but she decided she really didn't need them. Ava sat on her daddy's lap and enjoyed her newly purchased "glow stick/neclace" and the cool evening air. I really liked the whizzlers, they make that wizzling sounds then pop and then look like long slender fingers with tiny twinkling lights, pretty. Saturday was much the same, rain and painting. Sunday we went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate my sister turning 50, I had never been to the resturant and was more then pleased. Of course my WW points were no where to be found and really I wasn't looking for them either:) After all the picture taking and rowdiness, we loaded up and headed home. We all decided to snuggle in the "big bed" and drifted off dreaming of carmel turtle cheesecake. Good times. yep. gotta love 'em.

Oh I would love the cheesecake factory. Scott bought me a cheesecake for my birthday and Noah loved it. Yeah right all 2 year olds love cheesecake. He definitely has his mommy's sweet tooth.
Ahhhh-you made me hungry! Cheesecake sounds wonderful!!!
Sounds like you all had a great 4th
I'm happy that you had such a wonderful holiday! I wish that Niko would let me put noise canceling headphones on him, but he's phobic of anything "foreign" on his skin. Too much time being taped, tubed, and stuck at the doctor's, I think.
My brother wants a cheesecake wedding cake. Not one of us are complaining.
mmm... could go some cheese cake right now... Glad you had a great forth!
Oh and by the way, you can come and paint my place any time you like!
Sounds like a great holiday weekend! Lots of fun. We call out bed "the big bed" too! That's awsome she didn't need the head phones....I soooo look forward to that day with Arianna!
