Hi Ho, Hi Ho its off to TCH we go.......

Well the audiology testing at Texas Children's went as well as it possibly could. The freeway gods decided to bless us with at least traffic that moved, not fast, but moving. What more could you ask for? Oh I don't know maybe a fast moving TECH? It seems no matter how many times to tell them "the longer you take to set your stuff in order, the more anxious she is going to get and YOU will not be able to get any accurate readings", hmmm. It takes months to get an appt and then they don't have their "equipment" ready, since i am a coordinator of a department, this type of stuff just chaps my butt. Now to wait for results.

Aaannnnyyywwwaaayy, John was elected to drive us and then we (well actually ME) railroaded him into going to the aquarium in downtown Houston, so much for saving money. Yea somehow that conversation we just had about saving money, has gone out the window. I have to see this as a opportunity to at least have some time together and enjoy our kiddos. Now if you saw this place you will know that this place is a cash sucking machine. The girls loved it and John and I have to admit after the sticker shock, we took the chance to just decompress and let ourselves get pulled in all different directions by excited little people, answered all the questions and read EVERY description of the magnificent animals encased in the exhibits. Of most amazing was the white tigers they have, yes at the aquarium, go figure (chi-ching.

My one question would be why do people insist on making rides to unbelivable high? I have never pretended to be a thrill seeker and this outragously large ferris wheel on the side of a major FREEWAY is not my idea of a fun ride. As you can tell from my expression. Oh the things we do for our kids, let them see you a little scared, having fun and most of all enjoying them, yes I know we will.

Hey girl I am with you. I don't do rides. Looks like a neat place though.

Funny, I get irritated when they call us back at the dr office and aren't ready with their equipment - the anxiety is unbelievable.

The flowering path

The path of our lives is made more beautiful by our children, our water pots that make life's flowers bloom...........
