This morning we were supposed to send our children to Kindergarden with one light sock and one dark sock. We don't do dark socks, as a matter of fact I can't say I have even seen children's sock in dark colors, oh wait maybe a purple. AAAAaaannnnyyyywwway we don't own any. So I put her in dark tights and added her white sock over it. She had a black turtleneck and a oh so cute dark turquoise, white and black flippy skirt (which she loved and danced). Well why a big girl you ask? Well I will tell you. We went to the bathroom and she told me she had to go potty in her oh so lovely sing song voice. I said ok and helped get her tights down as well as her panties. I walked away for her "privacy" and when she was finished I stole a glance to be sure she wiped herself, she did. I asked her if she needed help to get the panties, tights and skirt back up. She promptly told me "No", I repeated myself since I thought for sure she misheard me. As I watched she told me NO again and started to dig around in her tights for her Curious George panties, fingers furiously working and she got them up. Then she went on to the tights, with a little tugging she did a FANTASTIC job of getting them up without ripping a hole in them! Up went the skirt and a twirl for good measure. I caught myself in the mirror grinning from ear to ear with my hair rollers twitching away. Sometimes I am in such a hurry I miss these events but when I get to see them they take my breath away. I pray for so many more. My big girl I just love her with all my heart.

Such a big girl :)
I too love moments like this. If we all just stopped and took the time to just watch our children always do and say amazing things don't they!
