Part 1 Texas Children's Hospital - Oh no you didn't!

Tomorrow we traipse down to the medical center in Houston to Texas Children's hospital. I have just spent half the day tracking down the test results of blood work we did last week in preparation for this appointment, "oh go ahead and come for your appt we will use the existing results", WHAT? The hell I will. Sorry but I am a more then a little perturbed, first she tried to tell me "oh if you had the blood work done here I am sure we have it" No, can you get your butt up and check? "well we wouldn't have made the appt without the results" ok let me repeat, I made the appointment BEFORE I had the lab blood work done, that is why I am asking if you have them " well let me check then, but we usually have them" listen to a eternity of TCH blah, blah, blah. If I hold more then 5 minutes that is telling me you don't have the flippen results. Sugar sweet voice, "Oh, ok madam we don't seem to have them yet" , hhhmmm, I must be a genius. Of course I am not even going to have Mz. TimeKiller try and track the results down so I call my pediatrician and let her loose on them. Phone tag, phone tag, finally got the results. They are within the limits for TSH and T4. If I didn't have to wait so long to get an appointment down there AND the questions I want to ask, I would cancel right now. I have never had this type of response from someone there, I hope they have her tucked away in a windowless room when I am there at the crack of dawn. Sorry had to vent.
